"Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I have ever read. So deep, moving, and rich."
"Reading your wise words, and seeing things from your perspective is easing to my mind. It put a light in my heart."
"If these were the kinds of words being spoken by our pastors from the pulpit, buildings could not be built fast enough for the people joining the church. These are the kind of words that truly turn lives around."
"God has truly given you a spirit-inspired window into the magnitude of His great mercy and grace."
"You communicate in an artful way what many people never see. You're an open book, and that's a beauty resistant to fading. You inspire and you make me want to be a better person."
"You made the gap between the kingdom and earth a little thinner today."
"Your frankness and honesty are your best traits."
"You are a beautiful person. you have given everyone who reads this hope."
Dealing with Grief: My high school tragedy
In 2016, I was invited to be a guest speaker at Crestwood Elementary School's Reading program. I was sixteen years old at the time, and spoke to 6th through 8th graders about my journey to becoming an author.
In the summer of 2016, my oral interpretation took me all the way to the 4H state fair, where I won grand champion. I brought the same presentation to a Shakespeare Club, where I was invited to both speak on Shakespeare and present some of his work.
In 2017 I joined a local Toastmasters club. Through the encouragement and support of my mentors in that group, my speaking skills drastically improved so that I was soon consistently winning best speaker awards at weekly meetings.
I've been involved with theater since I was thirteen years old, landing lead roles such as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Liesl in The Sound of Music.
I worked as a columnist for both of my local newspapers for four years, writing the pieces under "Frame of Mind" and "Redeeming the Arts. I also worked as a reporter for two year.
I'm looking to branch out into the communities around me by speaking at classes, school assemblies, reading programs, churches, women's clubs, special events, conferences, and non-profit organizations. Browse through my topics section and my sample work or contact me with any questions to see if I may be right for your event.
